Who is your favorite Character in this movie and why?
I love the Phantom, just because of the magic and the fun he brings into Christine Daee's world.

The Phantom would be mine, because of the darkness, and sincerness of his love for Christine.
I see the darkness in your soul...the darkness of my soul. We will die as the darkness concumes us.

This is a great topic, but I think it belongs in the "Phantom of the Silver Screen" forum, not here.

I really like Mme Giry. She's almost as mysterious as the Phantom in her character, but she's less anti-social and stand-offish. That's part of what makes him the Phantom we all love, but I think she's a good ballence character for him.

Psssh, I have no artistic talent like this. It\'s all KT. Except Sam. Sam\'s mom can [s]take the blame[/s] claim credit for her.

Moved to correct forum. :)
In the 2004 film, I personally liked the Phantom best. Though I also liked Christine, Raoul, Mme. Giry, the managers... Pretty much everyone. :D

Another Mme Giry fan! Yes!!!
She's like the female version of Erik, only more open and more accepted. I liked her from the moment I saw her. She's always in the right place at the right time, and, just when you think you're alone, she's there. She protects everyone and just keeps the order. I love her.

I'd have to say The Phantom, he is just so dark and mysterious and it's plain to see how much he loves Christine. She broke his heart, and the pain was obvious in his eyes. Ok he was also a ******* and a murderer but his obsession for Christine was to blame for that.

Subductive?? :P
I really like how Emmy portrayed Christine. For every other version I have seen/read, My favorite character has been Erik, but I though that Emmy did a fabulous job!
