Here's an amazon link to it

http://www.amazon.com/Letters-Erik-G...etters+to+Erik

It starts with Christine and Raoul going to Sweedon, and Christine writing letters to Erik's spirit about her life now. She and Raoul begin having marital problems because he's unhappy in Sweeden and Christine does not know the rules of how the nobility live. He is also jealous because he knows part of her is still in love with Erik. There's a beautiful twist i don't want to ruin, but I think you'll love it.

Thank you, wandering child, for telling me about Letters To Erik. I would like to read it. You make a great observation about De Carpentier which is a lovely name. In a way I have the same issue with De Carpentier as I do with Carrière, but you show an important connection. My problem with a fancy surname for Erik is that it draws too much attention to itself and away from the special character of the phantom. However, such a name might work differently if it represents one of Erik's talents. This is the same reason why Erik might tolerate bearing a surname related to his father whom he otherwise would not want anything to do with.

Bleeding_Masque, The Phoenix Of The Opera is something else that I have never heard of. My fellow members are teaching me quite a lot of literature! I'm surprised that this one is a series. Although the summary tells me that the story is lame, I must say that I'm impressed with the title. 'The Phoenix' is the perfect nickname for Erik! He's the epitome of someone who plays tricks of this sort. I would like to hear the last name. I appreciate your consideration of a possible spoiler, though, so thank you for offering me a choice.
