I only have one more for right now.

Cats: Grizzabella. Well, any of them actually. They're all so great and cute.

That's all for right now.

If I can't hear the music, and the audience is gone,

I'll dance here on my own.

Call me odd, but for the longest time I wanted to be Liesel in "The Sound of Music." I dunno, I just really like the song, and reportedly sing it very well. "I am sixteen going on seventeen I know that I'm naive. . ." Too bad I'm eighteen now.

In "Cabaret", although it's never gonna happen, I'd give most anything to play a female MC.

If I could, I'd definately play Carlotta, but I don't have the range.

I'd like to be Carmen in Bizet's opera of the same name. I'd also like to be Kundry in "Parsifal". That would be nothing short of awesome.

I want to be Eponine in "Les Miserables," too, but I know that I could never give the role justice in the same way Frances Ruffelle gave the role justice. I'd never live up to my own standards.

Mrs. Lovett is a role that I'd like to play more than Lady Macbeth.

Finally, I want to take Chekov's "The Dangers of Tobacco" and play Nyuhkin on Broadway. And don't tell me that it's impossible because Nyuhkin's a guy. Once I beat out my entire highschool for that role, and I'm a girl.

Well, in all fairness, I'm kind of a man. Back in sixth grade, all of my friends would call me an it.

I'll post more when I think of them.

That's all for now, folks... I think.

Actually, Charmian Carr was in her early twenties when she played Liesel in the movie, so don't worry, us old eighteen year olds still have a shot! :)

I may have already posted here...:) Oh well.

Hairspray: Penny Pingleton
Sweeney Todd: Johanna Barker, but Mrs. Lovett would be fun, too.
Phantom: Yes. everyone says Christine. But ya know, :P.
The Music Man: Marian Paroo
West Side Story: Maria
Beauty and the Beast: Belle
The Little Mermaid: Ariel (I've been made for that role since I was seven years old! :D)
Wicked: G(a)linda
Sound of Music: Liesel
Fiddler on the Roof: Hodel
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown: Sally
The Drowsy Chaperone: Janet Van De Graaf
As for opera:
Don Giovanni: Donna Elvira or Zerlina
Tosca: Tosca!

I haven't heard very much other opera, I've only seen Don Giovanni and Tosca...

EDIT: OMG, I'm the one that started this thread. Oopsie! lol! Consider this post an update!

Oh! How could I forget! If I ever got the oppertunity, I'd want to play Magdelene in Wagner's "Die Meistersinger Von Nurnberg". That's two Wagnerian roles that I want to play!

Guys and Dolls- Miss Sarah Brown

Cats- Rumpleteazer (love her, even though I'm no mezzo. I'm a very high soprano, but I can hit low tenor, high baritone notes, so I'm sure I can sing a mezzo part).

Jeasus Christ Superstar- Mary Magdelane.

Thought of a new one! I'd love to play Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, but it would need to be a "no tap dancing ability required" production. As much as I would love to, I lack the training to dance. :( Sad day.
