I must admit, I discovered her through the superficial realms of television, but I love her. Especially her less mainstream, weird music that has a deeper meaning than most want to interpret.I think she's so beautiful and I feel so exclusive listening to her stuff since she's not well known and hasn't completely watered down her taste to please the masses. She's one of the true faces of uniqueness in my opinion!Soooooooo.......anybody dig?

I'm just sayin'

I love her song Machine and The Call. She should be really out there since her music is really a rare kind of singer song writer genre since every song is so out there and different. It's not cookie cutter I'll say that! I heard of her from Prince Caspian...her awesomeness song The Call was seriously my hook!

My sister hooked me on Regina. And, in doing my research, I found out that she's part of the anti-folk movement in NYC, which means that sometimes, if a song sounds random, you just have to stop searching for a deeper meaning: there isn't always one. In today's music world where everything is either deep and about super-heavy stuff or mindless junk about drinking and sex, it's good to know there is still something that can be both deep and just flat-out fun.

I particularly enjoy her piano playing, though. I wish I could play an instrument! Takes more patience than I have, but I'm always happy to listen to Regina's funky beats and keys.

I love Regina! So MUCH! The Call, Machine and so many other songs have made me smile to no end. I want to learn the piano stuff, but well, you know. I'm just pretty busy at the moment, so ;). When I get the chance.

Ah sigh. What can I say about Ms. Spektor? I've loved her since "Begin the Hope" came out back in the day. She has a nice voice and she has amazing fingers, for piano, I mean.
I love that she's part of the anti-folk movement and I love that I understand her when she sings in Russian and my classmates stare at me in amazment. She's such a talented musician. Love her!

If I can't hear the music, and the audience is gone,

I'll dance here on my own.
