The Sound of Music is such a great, classic musical. I've seen the play twice, and the movie several times. Some year in Middle School we had to make music boxes, and mine plays "Edelweiss" (spelling...?), which is also my
favorite song. Another one of my favorites are "My Favorite Things". Of course I like them all. ;)

One of my all time favorite movies from the old days! :D To say the least, it is great. The songs and the story. It's one that really made history and will be remembered through ages.

My favorite songs in the music was: My Favorite Things, I am Sixteen Going on Seventeen, and Edelweiss as well. :)

This is defentally one of my favorite movies from back in the day! My mom used to love to watch this movie so I guess that's how I got into it. And in ballet class we used to warm up to all of songs. I can't say that I have a favorite song because I love them all!

This was my first musical that I loved growing up. I watch it every year around Christmas time.

I'm all about The Sound of Music. It was one of the first musicals to which I was introduced, so it holds a very special place in my heart.

I love all of the songs, but "Sixteen Going on Seventeen," "Climb Every Mountain," and "Edelweiss" are probably my favorites, with "So Long, Farewell" and "I Have Confidence" rounding out the top five. :)

has anyone ever sung you a lullaby? you can fly above the rainclouds, close your eyes
let the melody carry you, leave all your fears behind
and float across a rainbow sky to once upon a time...

I would love to see this but the issues is I just can't find darn tickets!
I love the songs: My Favorite Things, 16 going on 17, of course and Edelweiss, and Do-A-Deer.

We were angels once, don't you remember? Joys in life, inside our souls; and nobody knows, just you and me. It's our secret.
And your child-like eyes, and your distant smile; I'll never be this happy again! You and I. And no one else. || Maybe he'll come today. Maybe he came already...
